The ensemble was founded in 1972 in Sárvár (Hungary). The band is playing folk music for dance houses, historical music, poems set to music. Regös is participating on festivals in Hungary and abroad with a reach instrument kit and a wide repertoire since the beginnings. They played already in 22 countries as accompanying ensembl
