The experienced storytellers of the Csűrdöngölő Cultural Association are reviving the tradition of oral folktale storytelling – once an everyday part of life.

Their knowledge is rooted in the traditional storyteller training provided by the Hungarian Heritage House. Throughout the entire festival, they welcome both young and old with a wide variety of engaging programmes and captivating stories. During the festival, every day before and after noon children who enter the yurt will be entertained by storytellers at the Nádasdy castle. In the evenings, adults are welcomed with live storytelling, lies for adults and naughty tales.
