The six members of the folk music band comes to Sárvár from beyond the border to make the people of Sárvár dance. The members of the BorzsVári band are all related, as it is a family band.

The BorzsaVári band was formed in 2009, at Kisgejőc after a folk music camp where the family studied Transdanubia tunes. The members of the band belong to the Kovács family from Mezővári. They are all religious teachers, cantors and music teachers. The name BorzsaVári came from the Borzsa River close to their hometown, Mezővári. The Castle (Vár-in Hungarian) of Borsova used to be a large administrative and ecclesiastical county seat, the centre of Borsova county. They represent this county, this town inhabited by Hungarians.
