The band was formed in 1996 and became famous under the leadership of Serbian trumpeter Boban Markovi?. The band's specialty is the mixture of Balkan and European musical elements, which results in a unique and energetic sound. Their music can be heard in several Kusturica films and they have won numerous music awards, including the first prize at the famous Guca Trumpet Festival. Boban Markovi? is the founder and leader of the band, and his son, Marko Markovi?, is also actively involved in the band, both as a composer and as a soloist. The band also frequently performs in Hungary, where it is very popular. The band is one of the most important representatives of Balkan music, whose joyful music attracts many fans.
