Attila Fiai Társulat (Attila’s Sons)

The troupe was founded in 2013. Their first performance was at Bánffyhunyad as the main performers at the Hungarian Days of Kalotaszeg festival. Their main objective is to stage our national rock operas and to promote their ethos.

The name of the group comes form 1993. This was the year when Levente Szörényi’s great rock opera ’Attila, the sword of God’ was first performed at the Outdoor Stage of Margarethe Island. In this piece the sons of Attila were played by three rockers, József Kalapács, Joe Rudan and Mr. Basary. These three singers founded the band Attila’s sons twenty years later. These men were later joined by the leading performers of the rock, musical and folk scene of Hungary, such as Reni Tóth, Nóra Fehér, Évi Sári, Miklós Varga, Sándor Tóth, Péter Schrott, Árpád Koroknai.

Entry fees: 2 500 HUF (can be bought at the event).

(The ticket is also valid for the concert of the KFT Band and Stage Pass.)
